Application Procedures

First time applicants must complete the Pre-Accredited Membership Application Form below. Pre-Accredited Membership is renewed annually at a fee of €90. Once you submit this digital form you'll be redirected to the next page. Please enter the required details on the next page and continue on to the Stripe credit card payment page. Your application is not complete until you have paid.

Graduates who began their training in Child Art Psychotherapy in or after September 2021 may apply once all 4 years of their Child Art Psychotherapy Programme(s) have been successfully completed, whilst working towards the hours required for full Accreditation. For full details on the requirements for Accreditation please refer to the ACAP Accreditation Policy of 2025.

The ACAP Grandparenting Policy 2025 applies to graduates of the Visual Psychotherapy and Child Art Psychotherapy Training Programmes, which were delivered by the School of Medicine University College Dublin, the Mater Misericordiae Hospital Dublin and The School of Psychotherapy, St Vincent’s University Hospital between 2001 and 2021.
